JOHN EDWARD ROSEBUD, JR.

JOHN EDWARD ROSEBUD, JR. WAS BORN ON 13 FEB 1955 IN DALLAS, TEXAS TO THE PARENTS OF TEREVA & JOHN ROSEBUD, SR. JOHN GREW UP IN CLEVELAND, OHIO WHERE HE GRAUATD FROM GLENNVILLE HIGH SCHOOL IN 1973 WHILE AT GLEENVILLE HIGH SCHOOL, JOHN SOARED IN ACADEMICS AND SPORTS AND RECEIVED FOOTBALL SCHOLARSHIP TO BUENA VISTA COLLEGE IN STORM LAKE, IOWA. HE LATER GRADUATED FROM BUENA VISTA IN 1978 WITH A BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN PHYSCIAL EDUCATION. IN 2002, JOHN MARRIED THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE, GEANNETTE, WHOM HE CALLED HIS ROSEBUD. HE THEN CONTINUED ON TO EARN HIS MASTERS IN BIBLICAL STUDIES IN 2007 & HIS DOCTORATE DEGREE IN BIBILICAL STUDIES IN 2013 WHILE ATTENDING THE SCHOOL OF THE SCRIPTURE IN DALLAS, TEXAS. JOHN’S LOVE FOR THE LORD WAS ALWAYS DEMONSTRATED THROUGH HIS WORKS, WAS A FAITHFUL AND DEDICATED MEMBER OF SURE FOUNDATION BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE HE WORE MANY HATS.JOHN WAS EMPLOYED WITH HOMEWARD BOUND DRUG & ALCOHOL TREATMENT FACILITY WHERE HE WAS A CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALIST. ON 25 FEBURARY 2020, JOHN PEACEFULLY TRANSITIONED FROM LABOR TO REWARD.

JOHN IS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS MOTHER AND FATHER, A PRECIOUS DAUGHTER JOHNEISHA & A SISTER EDNA JEWELL. HE LEAVES TO CHERISH HIS MEMORIES HIS WIFE GEANNETTE, FOUR SONS, JOHN III, CHARLES (AMY), DEMELVIN AND JAMES, ONE DAUGHTER, LATOYA (RICKEY), HIS SISTERS BANITA AND LINDA KAY (DANNY), HIS BROTHERS PASTOR VICTOR (RAMONA) AND WILLIAM, 13 GRAND CHILDREN JORDAN, JASMINE, JERMAINE, SHAQUALYN, DEANDRE, DEKELVIN, SHANIYAH, DONOVAN, MIA, JAMES JR., RICKEY III, CHARLES JR., R’ KAIA AND HOST OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
