Mr. John Jones
October 24, 1941 — September 16, 2014
John L. Jones was born in Crandall, TX on October 24, 1941 to the late
Mr. Clifton and Annie Belle Jones. He was the second of three children
and the only son. He departed his life on September 16, 2014 after a
long battle of cancer.
He attended Crandall, Seagoville, and Pyle high school.
He worked at Lincoln high school for many years and also Miller
Company. John L. Jones loved to sing and his favorite song was "A
Change Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Mother, Annie B. Jones; father, Clifton
Jones; and sister, Annie L. Webster.
HE LEAVES TO CHERISH: (1) son, John (Tanya) Davis; (1) sister,
Betty Harris; (6) grandchildren and (15) great grandchildren; a host of
nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
