Joseph Dallas Brown was born July 9, 1939 to the parentage of Mr. Dallas James Brown and Mrs. Ellen Brown. Both parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Richard Brown, Sr. and 2 sisters Mrs. Tommie Billups and Mrs. Diane Kennedy.
Joe accepted Christ at an early age. He was married to Mrs Eddie Jackson for a season. During this season, two children, who loved them both were born, Mrs. Pamela Brown McClenton and Mr. Dallas Brown.
One of Joe Brown's life time achievements were his 50 plus years at Restland Funeral Home.
He is survived by: daughter, Mrs. Pamela A. McClenton (CJ); son, Pastor Dallas L. Brown; 2 grandsons, Corey C. Brown and Christopher D. Brown; 2 great granddaughters, Caryma Brown and Christina Brown. Also cherishing his memories are: sisters, Joyce Neal, Glenna Martin, Virginia Eubanks (Donald), Candance Moore (Robert), brothers, Louis Brown, Sr. (Julia Faye), Kennard Brown ( Mildred), Pastor John Brown (Nora Faye) and David Brown all of Dallas, Texas; aunt, Lela Baker, California; uncle Elder William Brown, California; additional 4 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and 1 great great great grandchild. He was also loved by a host of nephews and nieces as well as 2 longtime friends from Restland Funeral Home.
