LIFE REFLECTIONS
Mother Jurlene Williams-Boldes was born on November 6, 1942 in Gilbertown, Alabama to the late Grady A. Williams and Emma L. Williams. She was one of fourteen children. She accepted Christ at a young age. Her family moved to Waynesboro, Mississippi. At the age of 18 she moved to Winter Park, Florida where she met and married The Late Louis Boldes and to this union 3 children were born. In 1970 the family moved to Dallas, Texas. Louis and Jurlene joined the True Lee Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of The Late Pastor Robert L. Parish Sr. She later joined the Beginners Missionary Baptist Church under the Leadership of Dr. Kenneth D. Pace, pastor, where she served as a Deaconess for many years and she also was a World Class seamstress who sewed Baptismal and Praise Dance uniforms. She continued to serve as an active member until her service for God was completed.
Mother Jurlene Williams-Boldes was employed by the Dallas Independent School District where she was loved and cherished. After 20 years of service she retired. Moreover, she loved and cherished her family and friends. She was full of life and loved to celebrate momentous occasions. She was the matriarch of her family and gave guidance and direction daily. She remained faithful to God, her pastor, and her church until she earned her wings.
Mother Jurlene Williams-Boldes was preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years Louis Boldes, Brothers: David Williams, Ransom Williams, Henry Williams, Grady Arce Williams, Geno Williams. Sisters: Arcolia Williams,Pearlie Lee Anderson, Rose Emma Rankins, Ruby Stein May, Mary Lee Hinton, bonus grandchild; Erica Sweeney and bonus great grandchild; Demontre Sweeney.
Mother Jurlene Williams-Boldes leaves to cherish her memories: 3 children: Grady A. Williams (Shirley) of Fate, TX. Timothy Williams (Wanda) of Dallas, TX, Hattie Stapleton (Michael) of DeSoto, TX. (Bonus Children) Syliva Oliver, Erica Griffin, Asia Griffin, Ray Sweeney (LaRhonda), Jean Hubbard (Don), Veda Brown (Alex). Grandchildren: Kevin Williams, Gekima Williams (Demery), Tramone Boldes., Ronisha Williams, Eric Williams (Michelle), Timothy Williams, Jr., KaRita Collier (Will), Abrahia Moore (Terrance), Justin Williams, Kaylee Williams. (Bonus Grandchildren) Sabrina Nelson (Trell), Tanisha Richmond (Tim), Damien Sweeney, Deshun Hearn (LaFoya) Jaclyn Brown, J’Cory Brown, Mia Gibson, Sharee Glenn, Rayniesha Sweeney-Isaac, Micah Stapleton, Kase Stapleton. Great Grandchildren: Jon Robertson, Joshua Roberston, Janae Robertson, Ke’Myri Ashley, Peyton Boldes, Breunna Young, Montriel Price, La’Keithen Grimes, Michelle Williams, and plus one on the way (Erielle Williams). Bonus Great grandchildren: Rashad Gossett, Quentin Gossett, Chris Gossett Jr., Ti’najah Sweeney, DaKimah Sweeney. Siblings: Lura Williams (Shirley) of Altamonte Springs, FL. Earlene Jones-Todd of Wilson, NY, Lindsey Taylor (Edward) of DeSoto, TX. God Children: Christopher Gossett. Sr., Martin Kemp. Jr., Rachel Maye. (Ramon). Special Friends: Jessie Naulls, Lillie Montgomery, Etta Jamison, Pastor Kenneth D. Pace,Sis. Reta Gossett, Sis. Rita Bartley, Sis. Nora Brown, Sis. Melba Scott, Dr. Laquetta Shaw, Chaplain Karen Shaw Holloway, Mrs. Lillian McDaniel and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
