Kalaynda Patterson (Kay)
Mrs. Kalaynda Patterson was born on May 13, 1974 in Dallas, TX to the parents of Addie Augustine and US Eldridge Sr. She was a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church where she actively participated in various auxiliaries, and accepted Christ at an early age. Kay attended Dallas Public Schools and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1992. Kay was active in JROTC and the VOE program. She received her Bachelors from the University of Phoenix in 2009 and her Masters Degree from The University of North Texas in 2014.
Kay met Albert Patterson in Dallas, Texas where they married on April 5, 2003. Kay worked for the State Texas - The Department of Rehabilitative Services for 20 years as a Vocational Rehab Counselor until her retirement. Kay had a heart to help people in her community, so she took on the important role of a foster parent for over 50 children (in house and/or providing care). Kay was the Co-Founder of Perfect Collected Prodigies Music Mentor and also the Director of CPM (a non-profit organization) where she was known as “Kaybosslady”. She worked at both organizations for over 10 years where she helped the community by providing different programs such as an annual Back 2 School Drive, Tea Etiquette parties for girls and Thanksgiving Turkey Drives for the less fortunate. Additionally, she was a random Co-Host at It’s The ADD Show Through the Eyes of Robi Nickoli. Kay loved to travel more specifically, she loved to cruise with her family. Kay was a loving and supportive wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend. Kay was loved by all who she came in contact with. She was known for her no-nonsense personality in which she often spoke her mind and was very upfront with anyone she came in contact with. She was the protector of the family. Kay was hilarious and kept everyone laughing. She loved to dance and "party" with her family/friends. Kay will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kay passed away on September 4, 2021 due to health conditions. Kay had a strong faith in God and always said she is not afraid to go home to be with the Lord when it was time.
