Kenneth Dwayne Marcus was born February 28, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan (Wayne County).
He began his education at St. Leo and St. Barnabas Catholic schools in Detroit. After moving to Tuskegee, Alabama, he completed elementary school at Tuskegee Public School. He finished high school at Tuskegee Institute. He attended Opelika Technical School in Opelika, Alabama. He also attended ITT to become a computer technician and was enrolled in Strayer University, North Dallas Campus.
Kenneth fulfilled his childhood dreams when he served two years as a United States Marine.
At a young age, he joined Daniel Baptist Church in Tuskegee, Alabama. Later, he became a member of Mt. Calvary Christian Church also in Tuskegee, Alabama. After residing in Dallas for a number of years, he became a member of First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park.
His memories will be cherished by a loving and devoted mother, Saphronia Rucker, Richardson, TX; a brother, Glenn Ray, Garland, TX; a sister, Saphronia Thompson, Richardson, TX; two nieces, Shamika Manuel (Decatur, GA); Chakee (Ricky) Foote, Tuskegee, Alabama; two nephews, Bryce Elam-Ray, Lewisville, TX Joshua Thompson Montgomery, AL; four aunts, Lorene Reed, Jean Harris, Tuskegee, Alabama; Alice Carter, Orlene Williams, Detroit, Michigan; one uncle, Homer Ray, Detroit, MI and a host of cousins and friends.
