Mr. Leon Joseph Cox was born May 17, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Leon & Irene Cox, who both preceded him in death. He received his formal education in Dallas, Texas and graduated from H. Grady Spruce. In 2002, he met and married Lanette Hamilton and to this union no children were born. Joe was previously employed by Tru-Green until his health begin to fail.
To cherish his memories, he leaves: his loving wife, Lanette; children: Tomeka (Cox) Jones, Jason Cox & Courteney Cox, from a previous marriage; 1 step-daughter, Latoya; 5 grandchildren; sisters: Billie, Brenda, Stephanie and Simone, all in Dallas.
He also leaves a host of relatives and friends, who love and miss him dearly.
