Lessie was born February 28, 1937 to the late Leslie Willis and Myra Granville in Huntsville, TX. She attended public school in Huntsville, TX. She was the Room Service Operator for 45 years at the Marriott Hotel. She was a member of Eastside C.O.G.I.C. where she served on the sewing circle.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam J. Tubbs; daughter, Barbara Mitchell; son, Leon Tubbs.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, J.C. Willis (Joyce); daughter, Patricia Ward (Joe); son, Geri Tubbs ( Mary ); son, Brian Tubbs (Carol); 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; son in law, Aaron Mitchell; daughter in law, Janell Tubbs and a host of other family and friends.
