Lester Lee “Slick Nick” Hogg, of Dallas, Texas, entered Heaven’s gate on January, 26, 2018.

Funeral: 11am Saturday February 3, 2018 at Lincoln Memorial Chapel

Visitation: 6pm to 7pm

Wake: 7pm to 8pm Friday at Lincoln Funeral Home Chapel

Bishop Ernest Lee Hogg and Pastor Demond Sloane of New Beginnings Holiness Church will be officiating.

Lester was born in Dallas, Texas on December 9, 1959. He received his education through Dallas Independent School District.

Lester was a great man with many trades. He enjoyed restoring cars and mechanics was his passion. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Westerns and being a handyman for his family and friends.

Lester is preceded in death by both parents, Ethel Louise Hogg and Lester Lee Ransom

Lester is survived by his daughter, Lisette Torrence; two grandchildren, Jamarien Buchanan and Timara Harris; sisters, Paula Hopkins, Helen Young, Janice Hogg, Patricia Jones, Gwen Huntsberry, Cynthia Ransom and Vickie Watson; brothers, Ronald Hogg, Gary Hogg, Jeffery Ransom and Michael Watson; aunts, Dorothy Sterling, Marion Hogg, Jo Jina Hogg, Martha Gray and Linda Jones; uncles, James Hogg Jr., William P. Hogg, Bishop Ernest Lee Hogg and Carl Jones; he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
