Lillie Dell Perry was born in Arkansas to the late Ike Aubrey and Martha
Clayton Aubrey Chappell on March 20, 1916.
Lillie immersed herself into her Christian faith at an early age. Her love for
God the Father and her unshakeable faith built a solid foundation of
unconditional love for her whole family. If you saw her or had an opportunity
to be in her presence, you could feel the presence of Jesus.
Mother Perry, as she was affectionately known as, had been a member of New
Mount Calvary Baptist Church since 1964. Mother Perry faithfully served as a
member until the Lord called her home. In her last years, Pastor Jones and
Pastor Jenkins faithfully brought service to her bedside. On Sunday, April 4,
2021, Mother Perry received her final personal communion and prayer.
The Lord’s Prayer
Matthew 6:9
13 KJV
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, forever. Amen.
