Lillie Wright

Lillie Ann Reese Wright was born on June 30, 1951, to Dock Johnson, Jr. and Nina Mae Johnson. Lillie received her formal education in the Dallas Independent School District. She transitioned to be with the Lord early Friday morning on November 1, 2019, surrounded by her family.

In 1998, she married Cedelle Wright, Jr. and this union continued until his passing on October 12, 2012.

Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Cedelle Wright Jr.; mother, Nina Mae Johnson; father, Dock Johnson Jr.; brother, King Harris Reese; and sisters, Mary Ann Gegbe and Hilda Reese.

Those remaining to cherish Lillie’s life are four sons, Devien Reese, Neiman (Shun) Reese, Levis Reese and Tarrence Reese; and one daughter, Neitra Reese. Lillie was blessed with twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are four brothers, Alfonzo Reese, Dock Johnson III, Darren Johnson and Larune Johnson; one sister, Foronda K. Miller (Pastor Harvey B. Miller Jr.); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
