Linda Bertha Alexander was born on June 14, 1948, in Dallas, Texas to Leon Alexander and the late LeeAnna Brown Alexander. Linda accepted Christ at an early age and joined First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park.
Linda began her education at J.W. Ray and B.F. Darrell Elementary schools in Dallas ISD and completed her education at Hamilton Park High School in Richardson ISD in 1967. Linda was employed by SMU working in food services/housekeeping for over 20 years.
Linda was married to Preston Harris and to this union, a daughter was born, Sandra Denise Harris. Linda enjoyed playing dominoes with her friends and for anyone who knew her well, she was straight forward in telling you how she felt and didn?t miss a beat on what was on her mind.
Her mother, LeeAnna Alexander and a grandson, Darius Mayberry preceded her in death.
Linda is survived by her longtime friend, James Earl Brown; daughters, Lynn Michelle Alexander and Sandra Denise Harris; father, Leon Alexander; sisters, Carol Alexander and Cheryl Barnes; brother, Leon Alexander, Jr., five grandchildren, Phillip, Jay, Michael, Chassity and Tye; three great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
