Lou Jessie Bluitt Perry was born on November 10, 1930, to the parentage of W.B. Bluitt and Inetha Greer in Palmer, Texas.
She attended Dallas Independent School District. She accepted Christ at an early age, and was a member of Greater El Bethel, Golden Gate Baptist Church, World of Life and New Faith Fellowship Church, where she served faithfully. Mother Perry worked in housekeeping for Mesquite Nursing Home, the University of Texas at Dallas and Chester Clinic.
On June 11, 2016, Mother Perry went home to be with her Lord and Saviour.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Perry; parents; sister; stepfather; stepson; step-granddaughter; and step-great-grandson.
Mother Perry is survived by her daughters, Beneta Hales and Mary Ross; stepson, Cleophus Randall, Jr. (Sandra), Glaydine Stuart, Wilma Fowlks, Betty Bushy and Angela Randall; three grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; a niece, great niece and nephew; and a host of other relatives and friends.
