Cedar Hill

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens. On March 17 , 2020 Mack Earl McCloud, had an appointment with God and completed his purpose here on earth. Mack was born September 9, 1959 in Houston TX to Hazel and Henry McCloud Jr.

Mack attend school at Oliver Wendell Holmes and he worked occasionally at Citizens Development Center, OWLS Day Habilitation, So Amazing Day Program, Friend of a Friend, Supreme Care and Helping Hands of Duncanville.

Mack had an infectious personality, he never met a stranger, and every time he saw you, he would always speak and request something from you.  Mack’s favorite sayings were: “Its My Birthday”, “Where my hat?” and “Can I stay at your house?”. Mack was a long time member of Faith Chapel Community Church and because of his outgoing nature unofficially served as the head greeter.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Hazel, his brothers Thomas Ray and Pastor Henry Ted (Mentrall) McCloud. His legacy lives on and he leaves to mourn, a sister Patricia Anna Wertenbroch, brother Terry (Yvonne), as well as 8 nieces and nephews Charles, Kathy, Maximilian, Charles (Jr), Demerick, Henry, Milton, LaGia, and Timothy (deceased) that will always remember and adore their Uncle Mack.
