Maria Cardona de Hernandez, age 94, resided in Dallas, TX but originally from San Francisco, SLP. She passed away on July 3rd in Dallas, TX of natural causes.
A wonderful and colorful lady was born in November of 1922. She is the mother to 6 children: Fidel, Leoncio, Maria Santos, Virginia, Jesus, and Maria Luisa. She leaves behind 30 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of smiles, laughter, and strength. Maria Cardona was the epitome of working hard, loyalty, family first, and a devoted wife. She was born in 1922 in a small town of San Francisco, S.L.P. She was married to Ventura Hernandez for 65 years and was by his side until the day he took his last breath. She was mother to 6 children that came from Mexico to offer their children and future generations an opportunity to education and opportunities to excel in their lives. Please welcome us in celebrating her life and legacy on Wednesday from 6 to 8pm at Lincoln Funeral Home. A mass will be held at Thursday, July 6th, 10 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church, the burial will follow at the Lincoln Memorial Park-Annex.
