Marvin Henderson Jones was born April 3, 1940 in Jackson, Ohio to the parents of Reuben and Jenevee Jones.
Marvin attended high school in Chillicothe, Ohio where he graduated and later attended Ohio State University, where he played football. Marvin was always willing to travel. He enlisted with the U.S. Army, where he served his country and later received an honorable discharge.
Marvin met and married Yvonne Jackson. Together they raised 2 daughters, Erica Nicole Jackson and Tiffany Patrice Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by wife, Yvonne Jones; 2 daughters, Erica and Tiffany; 2 sisters, Inez Simmons and Eunice Lowe (John); 2 brothers, Lewis Jones (Carol) and Raymond Jones (Diane): 1 granddaughter, Kaila Nicole Reed and a host of other relatives and friends.
