Marvin "Moon" Coleman

Marvin Louis “Moon” Coleman, 55, peacefully transitioned into glory at home in Edmond, OK, October 25, 2020, while surrounded by family.

Marvin was born on August 8, 1965, in Dallas, TX, but was raised in Wolfe City, TX, where he attended and graduated from Wolfe City Public Schools.

Marvin was smart and witty, with an amazing sense of humor that was encased in a well-rounded head, earning him the nickname “Moon.”

Marvin is preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Marie Coleman, his maternal grandparents, Sefton & Louise Coleman, and paternal grandparents, Cymerl & Earnest Handy.

He is survived by his father, Truman Handy, his son, Marvin Louis, brothers, Anthony Quinn Coleman and Ronald Othel Butler, one sister DeLandria Annette “Dinky” Butler, his favorite niece, April Evette Coleman, and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
