Mary Lowe

February 14, 1914 — January 29, 2014

Mary Elizabeth (Jones) Lowe, the third eldest daughter to Nash Jones, Sr. and Adaline Ingram Jones, came to know Christ at an early age. Mary was born in and spent her early childhood in Corsicana, Texas.

In the early 1940's she moved to Dallas, Texas where she joined Community Baptist Church (now Bexar Street Baptist Church).

She was very active in Social and Charitable Clubs. She later attended Arlington Park First Baptist Church (under Rev. H W Bell) where she remained until her heatlh began to fail.

For the past 10 plus years, Mary was a residen at Wedgewood Nursing Center in Fort Worth, Texas where she helped the staff take care of her two younger sisters (Emma and Edna). Being the older sister, she was the ultimate caregiver!

Mary went to be with the Lord as the last memeber of her immediate family just two weeks and two days shy of her 100th birthday, born February 14, 1914.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Nash Jones, Sr. and Adaline Ingram Jones; 2 brothers, Nash Jones, Jr. and James Wesley Jones; 5 sisters, Lillie Shead, Rita King, Emma Cokes, Edna Herron and Katherine White.
