On June 13,2017, Mary's heart and soul soared to see the face of our loving God. She was born in Dallas, X, to Benjamin Howell Sr. & Beatrice Theretha Morris Howell. She accepted Christ at age 6, joining Munger Avenue Baptist Church, as the 1st in her family to do so. Mary was educated in Dallas Public Schools, ultimately graduating from James Madison High School (Class of 1960).She continued her education at Texas Southern University & El Centro College. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company; Republic National Bank; Lone Star Gas Company; MCI Telecommunication & the Oklahoma Eagle Newspaper in Tulsa,OK. Mary's parents and four siblings, Bennie Howell Adkins, Nancy Howell Cole, Benjamin Howell Jr., Wanda Howell Dickson her brother-in-law, Rheudolph Adkins, proceeded in her death. Her memory will forever embraced by her daughter, Vena Thomas & two grandchildren, Dedricc Webb &Venecia Webb, all of Dallas,TX; one niece, Karla Adkins Wiley (Marvin) of Little Elm,TX, one nephew, Derric Dickson, of Dallas, TX; two grand-nephews, Beau Wiley (Shanquia) and Princeton Wiley of Dallas & Little Elm respectively; one grand-niece, Morgan Wiley of Little Elm,TX; three great-nephews; two great-nieces, many cousins & friends.
