Mildred Hodge Colbert

Mildred Hodge Colbert died October 10, 2021, at the Lancaster Nursing and Rehab, in Lancaster, Tx. She slipped away peacefully in her sleep.

The sun rose and the world welcomed Mildred on October 1, 1921, the youngest of seven children. Mildred lived a life filled with joy. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Mildred was born to the parentage of William Hodge and Alice Mae Crow. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Calvin Colbert. Three brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherley C. Walker of Dallas, Texas and a favorite niece Ruby Butler of California. She also leaves three grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, five great-great children and a host of nieces and nephews.

She will be especially missed by the members of her home church, Bonnie View Christian Church.
