Minnie V. Sears was born to the parentage of the late William ?Willie? and Julia (Coleman) Sears on October 24, 1935 in Dallas County. She was educated in the Dallas Independent School District. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Canada Drive Church of God in Christ, Dallas, Texas.
Preceding her in death were her parents (William ?Willie? Sears and Julia Coleman Sears), three sisters (Johnnie Mae Sears, Charlene Armstead, and Mary Lee Davis) and three brothers (Willie James Sears, Robert Lee Sears, and Reed Sears).
She leaves to cherish her memory: one sister ? Laura Louise Burleson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one brother ? Jimmy Lee Sears (Lorine) of Dallas, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
