Monique Cadet, 71 of Maywood, Illinois passed away in DeSoto, Texas on November 23, 2014. Monique was born in Jacmel, Haiti on November 28, 1942 to Lucina Gabbard Charles and Justin Charles.
Monique married Serge, and together they had four children, Marjorie, Johann, Patrick and Gregory. She worked as a certified nurse assistant and enjoyed gardening and playing jokes on her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Serge, her four children Marjorie Prud'homme(Jacques), Johann Jacobs(Anthony), Patrick Cadet(Myown) and Gregory Cadet(Suzanna) 11 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Justin and her mother Lucina, her sisters Micheline Charles and Victoria Charles.
Memorial services will be held at Lincoln Funeral Home 8100 Fireside Dr. Dallas, Texas 75217 on December 4, 2014 at 6 p.m.
