Monroe Medford, Jr. was born July 20, 1929 in Henderson,Texas to the parentage of the late Monroe and Easter Medford, Sr. He received his education in Henderson, Texas. He accepted Christ as his Lord and personal Savior at an early age. On Thursday, July 19, 2012, our Father in heaven was ready for his angel. Jesus whispered to him and with no hesitation he answered.
Mr. Monroe later moved to Dallas, Texas where he became employed at Triumph Vought Aircraft. He was a very loyal and faithful employee for over 35 years. Further in his life he met and married the love of his life Jacqueline Scott. To this marriage they raised four daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Left with precious memories are his wife, Jacqueline Medford; two sons, Bobby Medford and Lester Medford of Arizona; four daughters, Kiamish Scott, Mesh Scott, Teshi Scott and Qunneshi Smith; three grandsons, Quintavious Olive, Ivory Hughes, Jr. and Damondre Scott; two sisters, Beauty Rambo Johnson and Hazel Steptoe; three brothers, Lewis (Marge) Medford, Kenneth (Marva) Medford and Thomas Medford; two special nieces, Jewel Faye and Tersa Medford; a very special cousin, Marvin "Boot" Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
