Morita Williams Edwards was born in Marshall, TX to the parentage of the late Hazel Lee Hawkins and Robert T. Williams.
She accepted Christ at an early age.
She graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School and later united in marriage to Tommy Edwards, Sr. She has three children: Steven Edwards, Sr., Kenneth Edwards (Terrey), and Alicia Edwards; three grandsons: Steven Edwards, Jr., Desmond Edwards, and Isaiah Edwards; four granddaughters: Ashanti Edwards, Destinee Edwards, Zacoria Hunt, and Zakairia Hunt.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Edwards, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, daughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
