Morris Pipkins, Jr. “Pip”, went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2014, with family by his side at the age of 90.
Pip was born December 2, 1923, in Carthage, TX to Morris Pipkins and Agnes (Golden) Pipkins who preceded him in death. Pip accepted Christ at an early age and was an ordained deacon at Community Baptist Church.
Pip was also a proud World War II Veteran and honorably discharged from the United States Army Corp of Engineers.
His interests included singing, restoring cars and playing dominoes. Pip’s charm, smile and quick wit enlightened any given moment.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife (Mary Francis), daughter (Brenda Pipkins), four brothers, three sisters and three grandchildren.
Pip is survived by two sons, James (Lucille) and Larry (Paula) both of Dallas, TX and two daughters, Millie Dotie (Fred - deceased) of Terrell, TX and Donna Johnson (Milton) of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
