Life's Epitome
Erma Lee (Jean) Christian was born to the parents of Quincy Thompson and LT Jones in Upshur County, Texas on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1933.
Erma was baptized at an early age, she followed Christ throughout her life journey.
She received her education from the Big Sandy School District. At an early age, she began caring for her family. She was employed by Carrollton ISD until her retirement.
In Erma’s early years she had four children, She Later met and Married Marvin SC Christian Sr. and to this union, she had Six children.
She is preceded in death by her Parents Quincy and LT, Husband Marvin, sister Thelma Merrill (Mattie), brother Dollen Thompson (Boy), five grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a nephew.
Erma leaves to cherish her loving memories: Patricia Nash (Charles), Mary Thompson, David Thompson, Pamela Green, Marvin Christian Jr. (Tammy) Shirley Christian, Clarence Christian (Wanda), Christopher Christian (Jessye) Tonia Christian, and Toria Christian, 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Erma will be remembered as a kind, loving, caring, understanding, and full of compassion, but most importantly as a Wife, Mother, Aunt, Sister, and Grandmother.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
