Oliver Harding, Jr. was born April 5, 1927 to Oliver Harding, Sr. and Tenniessee Holt in Elmo, Texas.
Oliver confessed his belief in Christ at an early age. He began working in the "Ice House" in Terrell, Texas at age 9. He was also a World War, II Veteran in the United States Army in -3446 QM (Quarter Master) Truck Corp. He retired from Coors Brewing Co. and was also a Tailor.
Oliver was a great provider, father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend. He was also a great story teller.
He is preceded in death by Elizabeth Harding, his wife of 53 years and his daughter, Jacqueline Harding.
He is survived by: grandchildren, Jeremy Harding and LaVita Jones; sister, and brothers, Ida R. Bennett, Charles R. Stephens, Kenneth B. Stephens and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
