Rev. Ollie Lee Hudson was born in Ellis County on September 30, 1924 to the parentage of Levi Hudson and Laura Williams. His mother always called him "Busta". He attended school in Ellis County he was employed by Texas Instruments until retirement.
He was a faithful member of the Zion Chapel Baptist Church for 52 years, starting out as a deacon until God elevated him to be a minister. He served as Associate minister under the leadership of Pastor L. L. Gardner and was dedicated to the church until his health began to fail.
In 1943, he met and married the love of his life, Ruby Estell Henry and to that union 6 children were born. He loved his family. He is the beginning of 5 generations. His hobbies were family cookouts and going fishing.
He is preceded in death by his wife, mother, father, 3 children, all aunts and uncles, all siblings and 1 granddaughter.
He leaves to cherish his legacy: children, Jessie Hudson (Marilyn), Erma Clark (Ernest) and Brenda Bowman; a special daughter, Sharon Brown (Jody); 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; 32 great great grandchildren; 4 very special granddaughters given from God; 2 special nephews whom he was well pleased, Pastor Richard Henry and Pastor Mike Henry; 2 special cousins, Helen Jean and Barbara Ann along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
