Mr. Paul Smith Sr.

Paul Edward Smith was born October 11, 1949 to the parentage of Mr. Claude Edward and Mrs. Margaret T. Smith. He went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father Claude and brother, Johnny Edward Smith.
Paul was born in Dallas where he lived most of his life. He attended the Dallas Public schools and graduated from the L.G. Pinkston High School in 1967. Paul spent time in the military and then later worked at Southwest Airlines. He also worked in the family business, West End Cab Company.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Margaret Smith, five children, Cynthia Young, Calandria Lee, Edward Sparks, Paul Edward Smith, II, and Valerie Davis; thirteen grandchildren, Ernie, Donte, Taylor, River, Paul III, Grayson, Whitney, Jassalon, Nahjae, Victoria, Israel, Harmonee, and one grand baby on the way; aunts Carolyn Geiger and Irene Vanhook; one special nephew Johnny Edward Smith, Jr.; and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
