Pauline Cooper Daniel was born on January 15, 1925 in Elysian Fields, Texas, to the parentage of Lolabele and Admiral Cooper. Pauline received her formal education in Elysian Fields. She passed away at the age of 90 on January 20, 2016. Pauline accepted Christ at a young age and united with Greater New Bethel Church. Later in life she joined Faithful Believers Baptist Church of Dallas and retired after 20 years of service. Pauline was married to Davis "Boolies" Jernigan, and she had five children. She was a longtime resident of Pleasant Grove, Texas. She loved taking walks and playing Bingo. Those who met her beyond heaven's gates were: her parents; husband, Davis Jernigan; son, Kara Leland Daniels; sister, Norris Hawkins and Naomi-Jean Tankeasly; and brother, A. J. Cooper. The memory of Pauline lives on with her children, Harline Anderson (James), Gwendolyn Brooks (Albert Sr.), David Jernigan (Dorris), and Shurlyn Stanton (Frederick); daughter-in-law, Brenetta Daniels; 17 grandchildren, special grandson, Rodney; 34 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren; her beloved pet, Minnie; as well as a host of other relatives and a friends.
