Queenie Lois Butler Earls, 91 was born January 22, 1922 in East Texas to the parentage of Matilda and Benjamin Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Butler; sister, Helen Butler; 2 grandchildren, Coleman Strong, Jr. and Rhonda Gaines.
Queenie moved to Dallas, TX and graduated from St. Peters Academy. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. Queenie worked as a designer for Southern Garment Coat Factory for over 15 years until they closed. She then began working for Herman Marcus Mr. Jack Company of Dallas and retired after over 20 years of service.
On January 3, Queenie married Mr. L. V. Earls who preceded her in death on December 6, 1988.
Queenie leaves precious memories with her children, Juanda Gaines, Saundra Strong, Selma Earls, Gaerell Shepherd all of Dallas, TX; sister, Inez Brigham of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Stanley Gaines, Jr., Eric Strong, Eric Gaines, Sheila Shepherd, April Earls and Crystal Strong; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
