Rachel Tovar

Rachel Tovar, 68, passed away on December 21st, 2020, in Dallas, Texas.

Rachel was born September 16th, 1952, in Harlingen, Texas, to Fidencio Villela Sr. and  Soledad Garcia. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved to sew, tend to her garden, attend church, and watch her novelas, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

She was survived by her children, Sonia Tovar, Jose Tovar, Patricia Tovar, and her grandchildren Jayvon Hicks, Emily Tovar, Anthony Tovar, Ava Lucas, Madison Tovar, and Jordan Tovar.

Rachel was preceded in death by her grandfather Florentino Garcia, her grandmother Maria Valeriana Gutierrez, her father Fidencio Villela Sr, her mother Soledad Villela, her sister Alicia Bustillos and her brother Joe Villela.
