Mr. R.L. Oatman was born May 08, 1938 to the parentage of Earnest and Johnnie Mae Oatman. R.L. received his education in the Kaufman County School District. He worked for Wonder Bread for over 40 plus years until he retired in 2001.
R.L. accepted Christ into his life at an early age.
R.L. is preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Johnnie Mae Oatman, four sisters; (Helan, Annie Mae, Annie Pearl and Bobbie Jean), seven brothers; (Earnest Jr., Melvin, L.D., Bennie Lee, Andrew Sr., Charlie, and Charles) and one stepson (Ellis).
R.L. leaves to cherish his Memories: Two sons (Mark Oatman and Reginald Oatman); three brothers (Robert Oatman*Mary*of Pearland, TX); (Alvin Oatman*Earlene* of Seagoville, TX); (Clarence Oatman of Dallas, TX); 2 grandchildren, (Faith Oatman and Varian Oatman- *Mark’s children*) and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
