Roscoe Brembry

Roscoe Simmons Brembry, Jr. departed
this life on November 7, 2013.
He was the second of three children born
to the parents of Roscoe and Luella
Brembry on February 9, 1943. Both
parents and his sister, Jeannie preceded
him in death.
R. D. attended Dallas Public Schools and
graduated from James Madison High
School in 1961.
At an early age, R. S. accepted Christ at
Griggs Chapel Baptist Church under the
pastorage of Rev. T. H. Wicks.
He was employed by Shepherd Air Force
Base in Wichita Falls, Texas before his
automobile accident in 1967.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Loving
brother, Charles L. Brembry, Sr.; sons,
Brando Pride (LaVette), Dallas, TX and
Cedric Pride of Wichita Falls, TX; three
grandchildren: Darrion, Shadarial and
Devon Pride and one great grandchild,
LaTaijia Washington; nieces, Val McCray
of Houston, TX, Shemireyah Lilly, Glenn
Heights, TX, Kim Roberson, Houston, TX;
nephews, Roderick McGruder, Brownwood,
TX, Vincent McGruder, Seattle, WA, Charles
L. Brembry, II, MSgt. USAF, Wichita, KS;
four aunts, one uncle, a host of great nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
