Rosa was born to the parents of Matthew Griggs and Clemmie "Sweetie" Griggs. Rosa was born in Terrell, Texas.
She later changed her name to Rosa Roberts. She had a host of sisters and brothers that have all passed with the exception of one surviving sister, Mary Helen Roberts, age seventy five.
She also leaves behind: nieces and nephews, Helen M. Fauntleroy & spouse, Luther Fauntleroy, Jr., Reginald R. Fauntleroy & family, Walter H. Fauntleroy & spouse, Nicque & family, The Pigg family-Teresa, Earl, Earnest, Claudia, Deldric and Jason, Jesse Roberts, Jr., Joy Walton & spouse, Jack Walton & family, Keylee Robert & family.
Rosa accepted the Lord in her early adult life. She was married three times and had no children, but was the mother of all.
She loved missionary work and helped not only her family, but also those who had a need. She gladly did the work of the Lord with a smile. She taught her family about Jesus. Her faith was truly in the Lord. Her life reflected a relationship with the Lord not religion.
Rosa worked for the Dallas Independent School District for 35 years as a Dietician. All in Jesus name.
