Mr. Roy Ross

December 3, 1945 — January 15, 2015

For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure
is at hand. I have fought a good fight I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a
crown of righteous judge shall give me at that day and not to me
only but unto all love this appearing.

II Timothy 6.7.8.

Roy(Sunny) was Born to the parents of Ruthie M Ross and Leon
Ross in Roosevelt Heights. He was the second born of 9
children. Preceding him in death are his parents Ruthie and Leon Ross 1Brother Leonard Ross, 2 Sisters Sylovia; Syovia Ross.

He received his formal education at Lincoln High School where
he graduated.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Ima Jean Rossfor 42 Years.

Roy claimed Christ at an early age, and became a member
of Saint James AME church in Roosevelt Heights.
Roy relocated to Oakcliff and became a member of College
Park Baptist Church under the late Rev. Watson Jr. and
the leadership of Rev. Carven Adams.

Roy was a mechanic and a wrecker driver and owned his
on business (Ross Auto), for 35 years.

Remembering Roy with love wife Ima Jean Ross, 7
children; 4 sons Kenneth, Dimitri, Daryle, Dale..3
daughters, Vickie, Nikeisha, Bernadette ...3 brothers,
George, Michael, and Leon Jr, 2 sisters, Ruthie and Karen,
as well as seventeen grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren,
and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
