Life Reflections : Samuel Ochoa Leal was born on September 23, 1971 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico- to Samuel Gonzales Leal and Adelina Ochoa Leal. Being the oldest of six, at 15 years of age he started working at a grocery store and since then he's kept working for the well-being of his family. When he was 20 years old, he fell in love with just seeing my mother from afar at church. Which made him search through many churches in the area for a whole year, attempting to find her again. Until he finally saw her again and never let her go. At just 21 years of age, he was a father to his own son, Wesley Samuel Leal. During this time, his priority was always to take care and provide for his family. A year later, they had another son, Abednego James Leal, and five years later they had me, Salma Alexa Leal. He was a very hardworking man, very generous, humble, and simple. Somebody who sacrificed his own health to give us the best. Always choosing his family over everything and anything, even if it meant to put his own goals and dreams on the side for us. His sensitivity towards God was one of a kind, in which he always conversed of the many wonders and miracles God did in his life. There was no relationship or friendship in which he did not talk about the Lord or ever not share his songs. He passed away the night of September 29, 2021, in Baylor hospital. He lived a brave and love-filled life and we will always have him in our hearts and memories.
