Sarah Lowery

Mrs. Sarah Louise Lowery was born on May 25, 1948 in Wolfe City, TX to parents Thomas Hollis Sr. and Velma Ruth Hollis. She was an active member of Greater Community First Baptist Church under the pastorage of Rev. LaCedric Williams. Sarah gained her wings on April 5, 2021.

Sarah loved the Lord and her children. She devoted her time to uplifting and encouraging others. She was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hollis Sr, brothers Phillip and Thomas Hollis Jr., maternal and paternal grandparents and son Jerry Lowery.

Sarah will be dearly missed by: Mother, Velma Ruth Hollis, Son Damonne Lowery; Daughters, Senikia (Carlos) Smith, and Novella (Wayne) Branch; Grandchildren, Samone, Joycelyn, Jalicia, Darrian, Elijah, Cameron, Zatranique and Wayne Jr. two Great-Grandchildren, Justyce and Journee Mills. Sisters; Virginia and Jamie Hollis; Brothers; Jimmy, Stevie, Donald Ray, Mark Anthony Hollis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
