Silvester Sanders

Silvester Sanders was born to Goppy and Betty Sanders on April 11, 1947. He attended G.W. Carter High School in Seagoville, Texas, where he graduated in 1964. In 1966, he married Linda Chambers and joined the US Army in 1966 and served until 1968, at which time he was honorably discharged.

Silvester leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 53 years, Linda Sanders, his two sons, Kevin Sanders (Roshunda) and Sylvester Sanders, Jr. (Sandra); his daughter, Shaquania Sanders (Michael); six grandchildren, Tarnesha Sanders, Tyrelle Sanders, Sparkle Sanders, Kayla Sanders, Keara Sanders and Madison Sanders; three brothers, Goppy Sanders, Jr., Raymond Sanders (Jean) and Danny Sanders; two sisters: Mary Sanders and Rachel Sanders, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Goppy Sanders;  mother, Betty Sanders, brother, Troy Lee Sanders and sister Johnnie Mae Sanders.
