Sydai Eniece Blue, 21, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 08, 2018.
She was born on March 29, 1996, to the parentage of Chandra Deckard and Rodney Blue, Sr. Sydai graduated from Lloyd V. Berkner High School, Richardson, Texas, in 2014.
She attended Forest Avenue Missionary Baptist Church where she participated in the Youth Department and helped in Culinary and Hospitality Ministry. Due to her battles with seizures, Sydai was unable to pursue a career, experience real love, or have a family of her own.
Sydai hobbies included drawing, reading, and writing. She had an aspiration of becoming a novelist. She had an eye for event decorating too. Sydai was a diva when it came to her hair, nails, clothes, and jewelry. At times, she was stubborn and opinionated but had an affectionate smile and laugh that made you smile and laugh too.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Dorothy Marie Deckard, great-grandparent Lee Roy and Katie Mae Davis, and grandfather, Elbert Allen Stegall.
Sydai is survived by her parents, Chandra Deckard and Rodney Blue, Sr. (Amy); four brothers, JaVonta Blue, Rodney Blue Jr., Lazarus Blue, Christian Chester, and Zion Blue and one sister, Rodneica Blue; one grandfather, Roosevelt Shelby; two grandmothers Rossetta Deckard (Dewayne) and Betty Blue; special friend Sonya Brown; and a host of uncles and aunts, cousins, family and friends.
