Thelma Louise Harrison was born in Dallas, TX, on November 16, 1926, the daughter of Pearl and Robert Foster. She spent most of her early years in Palestine, TX, creating lifelong memories of a nurturing home life with her mother and grandmother and of teen- age adventures with school friends.
In 1962 Louise married the love of her life, Freddie Harrison. They enjoyed a precious partnership and commitment to one another until his death in 1985. A dedicated employee with the highest standards, she worked hard all week and then immersed herself in serving the Lord as a faithful member of the People?s Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas. She took great pride in her many years of leadership and service on the church?s Usher Board.
Louise always enjoyed maintaining a welcoming, comfortable home. An excellent cook, she was known far and wide for her delicious ?Sock-It-To-Me? cakes. During her last four years, she endeared the staff and other residents at The Plaza of Richardson with her positive attitude and quick wit.
On the afternoon of April 2, 2013, Louise went to be with the Lord. She is survived by Freddie?s nephew Ray Davis and wife Sharon Davis and a host of friends who will miss her terribly, while cherishing the memories.
