OBITUARY

Theodore Calest Johnson, III was born on February 29, 1976 (Leap Year Baby) at St. Luke?s Hospital in Houston, TX to Theodore Calest Johnson, Jr. and Anitra Courtney Johnson.  His father preceded him in death in 2001.
Theo was raised in the church and accepted Christ at an early age.  He was a member of the Pathfinders Ministry and Instruments for Jesus, a group he and his church friends founded.
Theo graduated from Willowridge High School (Missouri City, TX) in 1994 and was a proud member of the Mighty Eagle Band where his proudest moments included being a featured soloist and marching in the Rose Bowl Parade.
In May 1999, Theo earned his B.B.A in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University (College Station).  He was often seen wearing one of many A&M t-shirts and was so proud to be a member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of ?98. Whoop!
During his freshman year at Texas A&M, Theo met his college sweetheart, Angela Wilson.  They were always seen together and on November 6, 1999, they were united in marriage in San Antonio, TX.  To this union, two children were born:  Nathanael Caleb (2004) and Noah Christopher (2008).

Theo was a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.  He pledged in the spring of 1999 at Texas A&M University.
Theo was a ?techie?.  He loved gadgets and all things technology.  It was a natural fit that he spent his professional career as a computer programmer in his employment with CORT Business Services and formerly, TXU.   He was also an entrepreneur that had many business including TriniHost Solutions, his web hosting and computer maintenance business, Photos By Theo, his photography business and Now That?s What I?m Talkin About, his blogging website and podcasts.
He was very involved in church activities.  He served in many capacities including President of Instruments of Praise, Treasurer of Family Ministry, Director of Awanna Youth Ministry and Facilitator of Teen Church in the Agape Youth Ministry.
Theo was a simple guy with a gentle spirit and kind heart.  He never met a stranger.  He had many passions and talents.  Above all, he loved the Lord and his family.  It gave him great joy to serve others.  His proudest accomplishment was being the best father he could to the two little boys that he loved endlessly.
Theo leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 13 years, Angela Wilson Johnson; sons, Nate and Noah; mother, Anitra C. Johnson; brother, Marcus C. Johnson; uncle, J. Alfred Johnson, II (Paula); aunts, Barbara J. Patterson, Jacquelyn E. Pettus, Patricia J. Rodgers, Maria Gale, Cynthia McMahan (Bill), Carolyn Wells; numerous cousins and a host of great friends.
