Tommie Runnels

Tommie J. Runnels of Dallas passed away on October 25, 2015 in DeSoto, Texas.  He was born on February 13, 1924 to the late James Runnels and Lillie Potts Runnels in Ferris, Texas.  Tommie retired from Ford Motor Company after 42 years of dedicated service.   He was a member of Page’s Temple Church of God In Christ in  Dallas, Texas.  Tommie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother,  Curtis Runnels and eight sisters, Rosie Edwards, Effie Williams, Alice Harris, Annie Mae Mabry, Claudine Runnels, Mable Runnels, Ruthie Mae Jackson and Christine Lillie Runnels.   He is survived by his loving brother, James. A. Runnels of Lancaster, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
