Wilbert Henry Mitchell or “Lucky” known to family and friends, 84, of Dallas passed away on November 14, 2022. He was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Henry Allen and Fleetie Mitchell on July 14, 1938.
He moved to Dallas, TX where he was employed by Baker Brothers Plumbing for several years. He later started his own plumbing business and opened a gathering space called “Big L’s Place”. He loved giving back to the community by feeding the homeless and helping those in need.
Wilbert loved motorcycles and was apart of many biker organizations. He was the National President of The Bikers Club and the Founder of Blue Flame Cycle Club. He has traveled all over the United States by motorcycle. His devotion to riding allowed him to meet many people who have become his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Allen and Fleetie Mitchell; his son, Willis Roy Booker; brothers, Roy Neil Mitchell, James Mitchell, Henry Mitchell and John Wesley Mitchell. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Annie Ruth Mitchell; five daughters, Carolyn Williams, Sandra Mitchell, Deloris Johnson, Brenda Williams and Robin McMillan; two sons, Artie Williams and Rickey Williams; one sister, Margaret Mitchell; brothers, Jimmy Mitchell and William Mitchell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
