William LaBaron Davis was born December 12, 1950 in Mobile Alabama to the parentage of Aaron and Anna Davis. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Nelson Perine.
William departed this life, May 24, 2013. He leaves to mourn, a childhood sweetheart and devoted wife of 42 years Sharon Ann York Davis, sons: William L Davis Jr. (Tamara) of Japan, Brian A. Davis of Fort Worth, Texas, three grand
children: David Wiggens, Mikhael Davis, and Zemirah Davis of Japan, his loving mother Anna Davis, Mobile, Alabama; six sisters: Earnestine Moore, Sarah Hesley, Mary Francis Jackson, Imelda Davis andShirley Ann Esponoza of Mobile, Alabama; Sharon Robinson (Gerard) of Fredrick, Maryland; three brothers:
Wade Davis of Mobile, Alabama, Wesley Davis, of Dallas, Georgia, Walter Robinson (Laura) of Long Island,New York and one sister-in-law Carolyn Sue Perine of Los Angeles, CA. William also leaves a host of nieces,
nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
William grew up and was educated in Mobile, Alabama. He was a graduate of Dillard University, New Orleans, LA. where he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity.
William had a relationship with the Lord at an early age. He worshiped at Friendship Baptist Church of The Colony, where he was a faithful and committed member of the FBCTC Unified Choir.
William retired from JC Penney IT department after 38 years.
