Mr. Willie Ray Runnels was born to the parentage of the late Johnny and Andora Runnels in Ferris, TX. He attended school in Ellis County.
He met and married Helen Williams. To this union, 3 children were born.
One daughter, Mattie Runnels; two granddaughters, Monisha and Andrenetta Williams; one great son, LeDarius Benson, all preceded him in death. Mr. Runnels is also preceded in death by his siblings, Rena Pearl, Essie Lee, Jimmie Lee, Zack, John Luther, Maggie B., Mattie OD, Dollie.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: one daughter, Donna Govan (H.C.), Dallas, TX; three sons, Jimmy of Dallas, Freddy Ray of Dallas, Louis (Kecia) of Mesquite, TX; four grandaughters, five great grandaughters, one grandson, one great grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
