Wilma Jenkins

June 28, 1932 — March 20, 2020

Wilma Helen Jenkins born June 28, 1932 in Chilton, Texas. The fourth of five children to Mr. Florence and Mrs. Annie B. Jenkins.

At an early age, Wilma united with Good Hope Baptist Church in Chilton. In 1950, she married Herbert Hibbler and to this union 1 child was born Pamela Louise Hibbler. She later moved to Denver, Colorado where she united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. In 1966 she returned to Texas and resided in Dallas where she united with Bon Air Baptist Church. Later became a member of Friendship West Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Fredrick D. Haynes III.

She was employed by the Veterans Administration and thereafter worked for the United States Postal Service, were she retired after 34 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter Pamela, god-daughter Linda; Only surviving sister Maurine Freeman of Phoenix, Arizona. 3 grandchildren: LaSanya (Finas), Levonis (Sharmetra), Misti (Jerome) all residence of Dallas, Texas, great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Alyssa, Taylen, Kassidi, Landon, Jaylan, George, Geordan, Gionni, Gia, Levonis Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.
